We loved our stay here. We had 6 people in our party. Plenty of room for everyone, outdoors & indoors. Saw 2 owls & heard 3 calling to each other from across the river, really cool! Saw fireflies one evening at dusk.
Enjoyed Our Stay
Enjoyed our stay. Cabin was very comfortable and accommodating. I recommend getting directions from owner, our GPS could not locate the cabin.
Beautiful place. Kayaked out the back door!
We loved it. Really cool place.
Secluded, private, beautiful inside and out, a great retreat.
This was a three generation getaway for my daughter, two granddaughters and me. The purpose of our trip was twofold. One, to visit the small nearby town where I was born some eighty-plus years ago, and two, give my granddaughters a chance to dig (unsuccessfully) at the Crater of Diamonds. Staying at the River’s Edge Hideway was a real treat. The home is amazing — open and spacious with lots of windows and has a beautiful setting of the Little Missouri River. The house was immaculate and beds comfortable. Although we could have fixed all our meals in the open kitchen, we ate at restaurants a couple times and I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention how impressed I was with the Mexican restaurant in Murfreesboro. All together, everything – but especially our stay at River’s Edge Hideaway – made for a memorable time and a wonderful experience.
Great weekend vacation spot!!
Everything was outstanding! Extremely well furnished with all the little extras you could think of!!
Great place to stay!! Definitely will bring the family back!!
Room for the whole family. Beautiful home and view. Abundant wildlife and right on the little Missouri river
I loved the cabin and enjoyed our weekend. The garage door simplicity but sure brilliance enhances the experiences. The only reason it’s not a 5 star no wifi 😥 and I couldn’t find network to even connect my hotspot.
Property was very nice, clean, and comfortable!
Had a great time staying at the Rivers Edge Hideaway with my family! There is plenty of room to hang out comfortably and just relax and enjoy the good times. We were outdoors on the back porch a lot of the time just enjoying Mother Nature and good company in a zen like setting. The river was beautiful and a bit cold after being at the Crater of Diamonds all day lol. The kitchen is a great size to cook indoors/prep, etc.. The cabin, beds, and bathrooms were comfortable and clean. There is a dirt rock road that you have to take to get there from the main road, but it turned out to not be a bother. The river views are beautiful in the morning when the water levels are lower, it almost looks like your looking at a canyon of the surrounding trees as a reflection of the water. You will have to go to experience this view!!! I would highly recommend and definitely stay again! Thank you for your hospitality William & Emily! You all are wonderful hosts!!!
Very nice quiet setting
We take a Mother in law birthday trip every year, She is 84 .The lay out of the house was perfect! NO Stairs. The house was clean. We never saw the owner. We assumed they lived next door. If we really needed something we would have knocked on the door. We enjoyed just sitting outside watching the river. House was close to Diamond Park. We took a sight seeing adventure to Hope and Washington State Park /Town. Within a 30 min.drive. Highly recommend the house and overall trip.
Great was very nice. Really relaxing and enjoyed it.
All that was said in description it was. Was very relaxing and enjoyed it.
Such a beautiful cabin and location! Our family loved the place! Very nice stay!
We loved the place.
Located on the river, bring fishing poles! The cabin is well appointed and clean.
Lots of running room for children without worries about traffic. I do recommend suiting non swimmers in life jackets if they go to fish as the river has a fair current when the water level is up from rain. Great location for a small family reunion. There are other cabins for rent within a 100 yards by other venders if you wanted to have a really large family reunion. Lots of comfortable outdoor sitting area for playing board games, talking and having meals together.
The sign to Old Factory Road was hard to find at night; I recommend checking in during the day.
There are three TV’s; I hid the remotes before everyone arrived. We had one child go the screen withdrawals, but fishing ended the withdrawals.
And of course the Crater of Diamonds is really close. The cabin had square sieve pans outside to borrow.
The whole family had a great time!
